Changing Your Beliefs: What’s the Point?
January 14th, 2009 . by Leon Jay .I have been asked why am I raising awareness on how to change your beliefs? Beliefs are so important as they determine your life. Pretty powerful! So it makes sense if you are unhappy and disatisfied with your life to do something at a core level. At the core level lies your beliefs.
Many of us don’t even know what are beliefs are. Most of our beliefs are not ours - we picked them up as children and haven’t bothered to review them. They are so deeply rooted within us, we tend to ignore them.
Are your beliefs true or not? Even if you know a belief not to be true - it can still influence what you do. Some beliefs are self sabotaging. They prevent you from doing what you want.
I strongly believe it’s important to FIND out your beliefs. Toss out the ones that don’t serve you and install new ones that work FOR you. If you don’t make an effort to discover your beliefs, your existing ones will simply run on default.
I have looked at the tools out there for changing your beliefs easily and permanently. I haven’t found anything. Yes there is plenty of reading material but no real substance.
I have been madly working on the development of a FREE software product that will do what I have not been able to find. A tool that is used to change your beliefs easily, consistently and thoroughly. This will be available for you in the coming months.
Which unhelpful beliefs do you have? Some ideas…
“I’ll be happy when…….” (delaying happiness)
“It’s impossible to change - I am who I am”
“Everyone has to do things they don’t particularly like”
“I am unworthy of a loving relationship”

Hi Michael
Thanks for your comments.
I haven’t read Alan Tutt’s book. Were there any practical tips in there you took away that you can implement on a day to day level?
At the moment my software is still in it’s ‘testing phase’. I will let you know when it is finished. If you sign up I’ll let you know as soon as it’s complete.

hello leon,
alan says that some people have a hard time with affirmation so he says to pace and then lean. ie:
i know that 2+2=3
i know that the earth is round
i know that there are 365 days in a year
i know that the sky is blue.
so you say 4 to 5 pacing true statements and then one leading statement that you want to create like
i know that i am lucky
get it. say and repeat these phrases in your life for about 5 to 15 minutes and then grade you belief between 0 and 100 as to how strong it is.
i like it.
its a different way to do affirmations as well.
yes i will subscribe to your newsletter.
have you heard of hypnotictunes.com they just released a 4 layer subliminal tracks for creating your life very interesting. read the webpage.
have a good one
peace and blessings to you and your business
